Location: La Cygne, KS | Anyone know where I can get a spare tire cover with a horse design on it for around $20-40, preferably made in the USA? I am trying to fit a 16" spare tire. The pro-craft spare tire from Country Supply will only fit a 15" tire, even though they state 15-16" tire. I bought it and it will not, no way, no how fit a 16" tire. Others have had problems with the same brand on a 16" tire as I found out on the user reviews. Country supply use to carry a nice spare tire covers for around $30 as I have one on my LQ trailer, but I can't find a brand name on it and it has a cord to adjust to the tire, not the flimsy elastic that is on the Pro-Craft piece of crap from China. |

Location: Florida | We gave up. We went to our local RV dealer and ordered a cover that will fit our tire in white. That's it, no horse picture, no cowboys and no scenic landscape. We bought the Country supply one earlier and learned that it will not fit too. Want ours? Oh well.. All winter and we ended up with white. I otta write my congresmen. Sometimes you can not spend the 10 dollar bill in your wallet. |

Nope, the one's with a horse design are $60 and I am only able to locate 6 that will fit a 16" tire with other designs such as jeep, wildcats etc. I am looking for a horse/western design. What happened to USA made products?????

Location: Redding, CA USA | I make custom Spare Tire Covers for horse trailers, vintage Volkswagen Buses or what ever you need a spare tire cover for. I customize them according to what you want on it. It's a little hobby. They start at $80 for a 2 color spare tire cover with an image of your choice and contrasting piping. The price goes up for each additional color. I have designs in my file for dressage, barrel racing, eventing and carriage. Many other horse related images on file as well. They are made with quality vinyl, quality workmanship and they will last for years in all kinds of weather. I have them on my cars and trailer Here is a link to some of the custom tire covers. http://www.flickr.com/photos/threads-to-treads/sets/72157619111312538/ You may need to copy and paste this link in your URL. Location: South of Dallas | Couldn't you buy a cover to fit and just apply a nice horsey type vinyl sticker design? I've seen some nice ones that you can put on the back of a truck window. If the vinyl tire cover is cleaned off well, I'd think that it would stay for a while. We use this type of design for signs and it lasts quite a long time. This place was a vendor at one of the Horse Expos in Fort Worth recently. They had nice stuff. I'm sure there would be others that are similar. http://www.nickerstickers.com/index.htm There are some of the "quickie" sign shops that can specialty cut vinyl for you too.
