6.0 or 8.1?, the towing capacity is 12K for a 6.0 Regular Cab so you would be safe unless the trailer is a LQ. Towing capacities are reduced on Ex-cabs and crew cabs, due to truck is heavier. I have the 6.0 in an Escalade and we pull 3 in a BP with no issues.
