Location: Pennsylvania | Hello Everyone, I am hoping that you all can give me your thoughts on this. I am thinking of purchasing a propane blue flame heater to put into my living quarters. The living quarter area has a 7 foot short wall and a 12 foot long wall The heater does have an oxygen depletion sensor on it and it is ventless. I am thinking of purchasing the 20,000 BTU verses the 10,000 BTU. Any opinions, thoughts or concerns is appreciated. Thank you! |

Location: Arkansas | I would also consider a catalytic wall propane heater, in a small BTU. We had one in a 27' 5th wheel camper that worked extremely well, was efficient in providing warmth at a minimum of propane usage. One other thing to consider is the proximity of everything in a LQ... everything is close to your heater. How your rig is finished and insulated will certainly have a bearing on efficiency, also.. |

Location: Vanzant, Missouri | My last lq had a 7ft SW 12ft LW and I used a buddy heater. I set it in the bathroom on the sink counter, and set it to low and was snug as a bug. Never had any issues It does dry the air out so I do crack a window up in the sleeper |

Location: Hagerstown, MD | IMHO I think 20K BTU's will be too much for your LQ. Are you camping above or below the Arctic Circle? Just kidding...........I would do a LOT of research on this heater and the application you are thinking about using it in. I like being warm in the winter, but I don't want to take a chance on being a crisp critter either. See what others on the forum reply with, they are usually pretty eager to offer an opinion. deranger |
