Which is better? Pros and cons of both would be helpful. I don't know much about either. Thinking of getting one with the new trailer. Thanks so much.

We have a single leg electric jack on our 28' Sooner 10' LQ 8 wide and 7'6 tall.  I am so glad it is there.  However as winter burns along, I am re thinking the location of the control switch.  It is in a position that causes any helper to get in between the truck and the trailer.  For the time and cost of a few wires I am going to move it out to a side for safety sake.

Poke around I am sure you can find a decent deal and have it installed to boot.

We've had both. Prefer the hydraulic. Faster, smoother, and ours has a key lock too.

Going to check out prices for another Hydraulic for our day trailer at Equifest in Wichita this year.
