I have a 2000 Exiss 300. I think it has a 4ft short wall. I am planning on finishing the LQ my self. Does anyone have any pictures of the steps to complete LQ like mine. I am hoping for a microwave, fridge, sink, cowboy shower, and maybe a stove top. We are thinking about skipping the toilet because the plumbing and dumping sounds like a pain.

I figured the more examples I see the less problems I will have during the process.  :}

Here are some professional weekender LQs. The only difference between some professional and amateur installations, is how much each charges. I would highly recommend a toilet even if it's a porta potty. The whole idea of a LQ, is having a comfortable, private, clean facility in which you can live. A 4' LQ has enough space for everything you want.

My posting was in mid Jan. I imagine things have changed a bit since then. Just go to the want add section, select photos for Exiss, GN and LQ. Three horse trailers usually give some good results. Any weekender in the 300, 304 or even the 305 series will give you some idea of finished interiors. Here's one:

Try other brands of trailers as well. Many of the Exiss Sports have similar interiors. Other brands use different LQ conversion companies. You can compare layouts among them, and choose the features that interest you the most.

Your LQ looks very very very cool...well done. I see you have the same problem I have - how to keep the doors closed while traveling. I use stretch ties. I have tried all sorts of gadgets to keep them closed. It started with locks on all the doors, but I used aluminum edging on my doors so the locks dont line up properly and didnt work. Then I tried magnetic closers - they are not strong enough. I have given up now. I just tie them closed.

Well done on your LQ - you must be very proud.

Keeping the cabinet doors closed? I'll install these.

Another device for keeping the doors closed might be the child-proofing gadgets.

Yes, it does fold out. I purchased it from HOM furniture, they call it a Clik-Clak sofa.If you had that in your home, it would need to sit about 5 inches from the wall in order for it to fold down. And when it was folded down, the back would be touching the wall. I didn't want to loose the 5" on the floor in the trailer. I would warn that I spent probably the better part of a day on my CAD program designing the slides so that it would work....plus fab time and materials. I removed the base it comes with.

I paid $299, but as I stated in another thread, I think I'd have been farther ahead, or at least equal, if I'd just bitten the bullet and bought a Jack-Knife sofa from somebody.
