I just got off the phone with a guy that recently (last month) ordered a Custom Fab Trailer out of PA. The company took a 3k deposit from the customer to build trailer. The company kept stringing along the customer, telling them their trailer was work-in-progress. A few days ago, the customer received a letter from a lawyer, informing customer of bankrupcy proceedings and how the company didn't have enough money to repay deposit. I called and the lady that answered the phone denied the rumor but the letter from the lawyer tells a different story.  Anyone have any inside info...DaveM, retento, Gard?  I suppose it could be reorganization bankrupcy, but the customer isn't counting on getting his Customer Fab trailer because he is buying a Double D Trailer now.

You might want to do a thread search regarding Custom Fab. Interesting reading. My friend had a hard time getting the trailer he ordered and made a deposit on....made several personal visits to the factory to move things along. It was eye-opening. This was about 2 years ago.
