Location: Fort White, Fla. | I am converting my dressing room into a weekender and was wondering on the electric and where do you put the 110 breaker box and 12 volt panel, I was going to put it in the couch box in front of the sleeper over the gooseneck in with the water tank on the other side, will that be all right or should I put it some where a way from the tank, it will be raised off the floor, Thanks |

Location: western PA | I'm not familiar with the RIVA regulations, but I personally would not place an electrical panel in proximity to any water storage. In addition, any outlets near a water source should have GFI protection. Water and electricity don't mix well, and with some forethought, it should be an easy matter to keep the two isolated. Gard |

Location: Northern Utah | They do that all the time. Under the jack knife couch, You will find the water tank at one end, usually the pump and water heater in the middle, The furnace and breaker panel at the other end of the couch. Fairly common layout. |

Location: North of Detroit, MI | I don't know about that book. I use todd.redwrench.com for a good reference on DIY interiors. His site is pretty well organized. I don't know if it will answer your specific question but perhaps you can email him and ask his opinion. |
