Location: Paris, Ohio | I know there are a few commercial horse haulers that frequent here. Was wondering with the economy what it is and the horse market down if you're able to stay busy. I was recently laid off and was thinking about doing a little hauling just for something to do and to make a little $$$$. Thanks! |

Location: Ocala, FL | There is basically nothing moving. If people are buying, they are getting the horse so cheap that they say the transport is more than the horse and won't pay! For the cost involved (especially for commercial insurance) is way beyond the income. We are established haulers and have our regular customers that normally keep us going but that has even slowed down. There is no new business for us. With all the regulations and insurance required it is simply not worth it. |
