Location: Fort White, Fla. | Dixie Horse & Mule is where I got my trailer from and they are good people there, I will call Dan today about a inverter and see what they have, I didn't see any on there web site, Thanks Gard, P.S> what size do you think, I was thinking maybe a 1500 or a 1000 walt, it would be for lights, refrigerate, coffee pot,TV and stereo not at the same time |

Location: Texas | Figure out what the max watts you will use at once and then get one that will run 20% more. You'll need a pretty good sized battery bank to run anything very big for very long. A good place to look for inverters is to look up the solar power stuff, like this one http://www.partsonsale.com Xantrex and Outback seem to get pretty good reviews from RV'ers that use them a lot but there are cheaper ones that will work also.
Personally I would make all the lights 12V, you've already got the batteries there, should be more efficient than changing to 120V too. |
