Location: Mt. Clemens, MI 48043 | Hi! I would like your opinion. We are thinking of leasing our horse out since money is tight. The cost of the lease would be $75.00 plus two bags of feed. We would provide the rest. For $150.00 the barn owners will do morning feed and turns out. In the evening we bring in, clean the stall and prepare the morning feed (or the other person would). Should we split everything down the middle like the cost of grain, and shavings. Never did this before and want it to work. Thank you for your opinion. |

Location: Michigan | Well I have never done anything like that before. Do you already have someone who wants to lease? If the horse is staying at your home, where you know it is safe and sound and such, I would say, what do you have to lose? As long as the person leasing is not a trouble maker or anything, it should be a good deal for you. Good Luck |
