Location: lyle,mn | Ok we live in Minn. land of the cold winters, can you leave your flat screen TV's in your LQ over winter or do you need to take them out to keep the liquid from freezing in them and wrecking the TV? Does anyone know? |

Location: western PA | I don't know about plasma screens, but we have a portable DVD player with a liquid crystal display, that is left in the trailer over the winter with no problems. Gard |

Location: lyle,mn | Well, when it gets down -15 below and this is a brand new trailer, I don't want the TV to get wrecked. |

Location: Western WA | I figure the cold isn't good for any of the LQ components so I keep a ceramic heater set for 55-60 degrees all winter. |

Location: san antonio TX | I am by no means a trailer expert but do work with electronics some. My wife says I am a gadget geek so here is my advice, take it out for the winter. The big issue will be moisture. When the air gets really cold then warms up you can have moisture build up in the components. Two things will kill electronics quick, heat and moisture. You might get away with it but i would not take the chance on something that expensive. JMHO |

Location: lyle,mn | Using an electr. heat is not going to work. It is not stored at our place for the winter and there is no electr. there. I will have to look at the TV to see how hard it would be get it out. It is in a cabinet on a swing out arm. I didn't look that closely at it but it did look like it was wired in there good. |

Location: parker, co. | Just got a copy of an RV magazine...... and they do NOT reccomend leaving anything with a LCD screen in an RV over the winter. |
