Location: Ohio | A lady not too far from us has a 1997 Trailet, 3 horse slant for sale. Owner says it's all aluminum but the Trailet web site talks about steel frame. I'm planning on calling the company tomorrow to ask about spec's. Does anyone have first hand knowledge about these trailers? History? Durability? Anything I need to pay close attention to when I look at it? Thanks. |

Location: Tennessee | It has a galvanized frame, aluminum skin, and fiberglass roof. I like Trailets. The fiberglass roof helps them stay cool even on hot sunny days, and the aluminum skin stays looking good for a long time with little maintenance. |

Location: western PA | The trailet I'm familiar with has a steel frame and aluminum skin. It has had rust issues since new, and is lightly built. The hardware is mediocre, the axles, tires and wheels are light duty. I would not expect this one to work well with anyone who uses his equipment often, and who needs long term durability. It is built well enough for a part time, back yard showing effort. It is constructed similarly to some of the "Lite" trailers offered by several manufacturers. If you're looking for a long term, heavy usage unit, this is not the one to consider. Gard |

Location: Ohio | Thank you. This is my impression too. I'm going to look anyway but suspect it's much longer unit than what I'm interested in. The half wall is 7 ft. -Jan |

Location: Eyota, MN | I know things change over time, and this is a very old example of the company, but I have a little Trailet from 1989, and that little bugger still looks great. NO RUST and I live in MN, with lots of salt on the roads :) I love it as much as my big boy trailer and will never part with it! |

Location: Illinois | From when I was researching used trailers Trail-et started using Galvanized steel in it's trailer frames in 1996 to current and likely beyond. My parents have one that's a few years old with the new Rumber floor and love it. |

Location: Elgin, IL | I have a trailet and had it for a few months now. Seems like a decent trailer, built well with the exception of the hardware they put on the back doors - that could definately be improved on and I would have preferred the axles be rated heavier than they are. Other than that I'm pleased and plan on keeping it for quite awhile. |

Location: Hartsville, SC | railet is a wonderful trailer. I had a 2002 gooseneck straight load and it was perfect when I sold it last March. Good service and well build. Mine looked like new and I used it fairly often for camping. Pulled great, too. I would definitely buy one again. |

Location: Jeddo, MI | I own a 1999 Trail-et 2 horse bumper pull and like everything about it. The dressing was big enough to put a bed in the nose with storage underneath. The floor is still like new. The aluminum skin still looks great. The only thing I added to the outside was wheel covers to fancy it up. |
