    Location: Roanoke IL | http://www.pjstar.com/homepage/x1512800152/Vote-restores-park-funding Well, they voted 55-0 to restore the funding for the Illinois state parks and historical sites that Blagoyavitch was closing. We aren't out of the woods yet (no pun intended) but it looks promising. The many MANY petitions and ralleys that took place must have done something! I am so happy! Even though all the trails might not be saved, and perhaps the deal could still fall through, it's some progress, and people made their voices heard. Hooray! |
