Location: North Carolina | Well it is time to buy new tires for my trailer. I have been extremely pleased with the Good Year LT235/85R16 G614 tires that have been on my trailer. I know I have gotten at least 70,000 miles out of them. I am pretty sure I will be putting them back on my trailer although they are pricey. (I think for as long as they have lasted they are worth it) Anyway I was just wondering what tire everyone else is running on there trailer and if they have been pleased with them. Also what kind of mileage have you gotten out of them? Just looking at all the other options before I pony up the money. |

Location: western PA | Many of the new trailers are equipped with Chinese tires and you can read about their consistent blow out issues. Carlisle, Marathon and Firestone are some brands to avoid. If you are getting the results from Goodyear as you suggest, it would be unreasonable toi use anything else. Many owners have never had the wear and service you have enjoyed. Gard |

Location: Kinston, NC | we used Carlisle on all trailers at one time and had good results, changed to Goodyears about 1 year ago and have been pleased. |

Location: Rocky Mount N.C. | I have been extremely pleased with the Good Year LT235/85R16 G614RST tires that have been on my trailer. I wish Michelin built a tire in that size and load capacity. On a 7000# axle I would use a Michelin XPS Rib. Anything above 7000#, use the G614RST. Anything above the 3750# rating of the G614, you'll need to move up to a 215/75R17.5. No Chinese tires for me, thank you.

Location: Broomfield, CO | DO NOT buy "Trail America " Tires.... I had 3 blow UP (Not out) on my way to OKC. I googled them and found other people had trouble with them....They blow up damaging your trailer....If anyone has them on their trailer you will be money ahead getting rid of them right away..... I have about $2000 damage on my trailer due to these tires.... |

| Where are you getting your information about Carlisle tires. Meaning, made in China and blow outs. I can't find anything that speaks to that. Please advise because I just put 4 new Carlisle tires on my trailer. |
