Location: Little town in Pa | I was told last night that Lakota services their trailers by actually traveling around the coutry and servicing them at your residence. They say it will usually take 2 or 3 weeks come to your home when a service call is made. Has anyone delt with Lakota service and what do you think of them? Also do you know of any other manufacturer that services their trailer at your own home like Lakota? This really seems like a good idea. |

Location: Shawnee, Oklahoma | That's a good selling point for Lakota, but wouldn't they have to use locally contracted RV and trailer repair service shops? Our repair shop offers mobile RV and trailer service calls, and sometimes it involves coming back to the shop for parts etc. That would be hard for a Lakota service rep if they came right from the plant in Indiana. I'd be curious to see how they work that.

Location: Little town in Pa | Thanks Cal, What is the average wait for service after you call? We live about an hour out of Pittsburgh, PA. I understand the time varies, but let's say we have a loose door, could we expect service in 2 weeks or 2 months? I do appreciate the fact that you make the LQs as well as the trailers themselves, sounds like good synergy. |

Location: Bristol, IN | I would expect that the service you are describing could easily be handled by a qualified local service shop within two weeks.
