So ... you folks who have these ... how easy are they to get on and off? For the owner, that is, not the thief. ;) I priced the Trailer Keeper and it's the same cost as buying the two coupler locks with padlocks. (Possibly a bit cheaper, depending on where you buy the coupler locks and which padlocks you spring for.) But if the tire lock is a struggle to get on and off in, say, a veterinary emergency then I might prefer the coupler locks.
Oh - someone suggested LoJack to me but I looked it up and it seems to be a car/truck product rather than a towed vehicle product. I don't think the coverage is good enough for horse trailers which don't typically spend a lot of time in large metropolitan areas ... plus it's expensive and non-transferable. Kind of a pity, though. It has a 90% recovery rate within the coverage areas. Wouldn't it be nice to get your trailer back after the thief manages to disable all of your theft prevention measures?

The more you operate it...the easier it becomes to open the tire lock...The first time I unlocked it was in a pouring rain and it seemed like it took forever...

I wouldn't waste my money on air ride if you want something to help the ride of your trailer try one of these. I use them I sell them and I guarantee this is better than air ride.I know people who had air ride that took it off to put on of these star performance hitches on.
