I just wanted to let everybody know about what I found!  I had been looking at getting a portable corral panel for my trailer since I ride a stallion.  I was afraid of the ones I had seen on the Internet due to how light weight they were.  I went to the Utah Horse Expo and found Trail CorralTM, the answer to my search!  Trail CorralTM attaches to your trailer, is made of steel, easy to set up, no lugging or heavy lifting and can very sturdy!  After I bought my Trail CorralTM, I took one of my horses out that is very nervous when by himself, he usually paws and digs a hole when tied.  I was so amazed, he was wonderful, no pawing or digging.  He was calm and enjoyed being able to move around in his 12 x 12 corral stall.  I also took  my stallion to a show, thank goodness I had the Trail CorralTM, a  mare got loose and headed straight for the trailer.  I think Trail Corral is the best horse product since bell boots and hay nets!  I like mine so much that I'm now a rep so  Check it out at www.trailcorral.net or email me at  trailcorral@gmail.com

Can't find any pricing info on your site, either.  Why would you start promoting your site without this?   People are lazy, might not contact you for more info.

Thank you for reading my post, I think is great that the people from the web site are protective of it but I would hope that it would be a kind place to post ads.  Dave is building my web page and will be running my ads for Trail Corral.  My web designer, bless her heart, that has been working on my page has had a major medical and lost of life experience and could not finish my web or ads for the Internet, which is why I was up so late last night trying to locate the webs that would be good to be on and a web designer.  I am sorry if  you were upset about my post but as I learn the web do's and don'ts and Dave gets my web stuff done, hopefully I wont get trashed so bad.

I am not happy to spend so much time learning the web but I believe in Trail Corral as a product that helps keep my horse safe and more comfortable and wanted to let others know about it!  Trail Corral was started after a barrel racing horse was badly injured by a horse that had gotten loose at an event.

I understand your concerns, but after having a friends horse (at an endurance race) try to lay down while tied to the trailer and cutting it's artery, (they couldn't get the rope cut), I feel that this is the best solution to a situation that will always have risk.  Every time you haul a horse, there are risk.  The Trail Corral has certainly protected my stallion and gelding from loose horses, plus they are more relaxed than when tied to hot trailer.  Thank you for your thoughts.  Have a wonder day!

The set up I built for myself only cost me $125.00 plus2 hours of my time.... No metal, nothing hagging off the side of the trailer either.... Mine is 5 panels that are 6' long that will extend to almost 12' long and either makes 2 12'x12 stalls or a 12'x36' stall or a nice size round stall.

Hey Tom-Tom,

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I am just getting my feet wet with forums and cyberspace.

The 3 panel system is $750.00 (plus S&H)(retail $899) which you can put on the side or off the back of your trailer.  With the Backdoor Style you have to be able to put one panel on one side and 2 the otherside.  A 5 panel system is $1150 ($750 + $400)(plus S&H).  This make a very large corral. Extra panels are $200 each.  Some people that have 2 horses are getting 6 panels and making 2 (12x12) stalls.

We are going to a mounted shooting Sunday and was going to set them up, I will get some pictures in the trailer and set up so I should be able to post them Sunday night.....

I just used 1 1/4" for the larger part and 1" for the small end so it will slide inside the large end.   I made my first set just over 4' tall with top rail and center rail.  Going to build a set next week with 3 rails for a friend.  Will be a little stronger and just a touch more weight.

Sounds like someone might have another business there for the taking...

Better half wants me to build more and smaller sizes and sell them.  All I wanted to do is make her something easy to set up when her and her friends go for the weekend instead of using portable electric fence. (some places are so rocky she can not put the step in post in the ground)
