I am an older Sooner Dynasty. The underneath of the GN is getting close to hitting the top of truck bed..actaully did when parking tonight on a very very little hill.

Anyone heard of taking off the axles and flipping them so the arm goes the other way, giving an extra bit of clearance?? Did it end of working?

Other ideas of what I can do? Thought about maybe putting blocks under axles somehow??

Block the axles! I never heard of flipping them...

I'm sure gard, retento or one of them guys will jump in a little while and let you know for sure.

I'm not sure the cost or labor on the block, I just know it can be done.

Dealers around here will add a 3" block to the axles for $300-$400  It's fairly common for those of us who drive down Forest Service and BLM roads.

Pretty simple and straight forward proceedure.

Like HTB and PH said, you don't "flip" torsion axles, you mount "blocks" between axle rails and the trailer frame rails, pretty simple and strailght forward procedure.

Used the HTW search feature to search "raising trailer", "block axles", "axle alignment", etc. for the past 365 days...
