I sincerely apologize for the rude behavior you are experiencing and the lack of sincereity expressed in their apologies.  I understand your wanting to be rid of the politics of the world when you come to a "technical" board seeking answers to trailer questions. 

That's why we have the ability for individual threads when you post.  Sometimes you just have to drive by the accidents.  Don't stop, don't even look.  Just drive on by.

With that said, I could employ a staff to answer a technical help line, (expensive), or I can open a board like this and invite the experts to become regulars and share their experience. 

I chose the latter, but chatting about things we care about is just human nature, so please bear with us, if we occasionally shoot off our mouths.  I'll make sure to watch that all threads are appropriately labeled in the future so it will be less likely for you to "open" a package you don't want.
