True West Campground just had a Facebook post that a tracker found both horses together deceased. They were still fully tacked.

Yes they are both gone, a horribly sad day. Thank you everyone who had hope and rode out looking for them.

It is always a shame to lose a loved and treasured friend. We had a couple of lost horses out here in the Los Angeles Basin perish the same way.Tragic is all I can say.

Charmer88,

Please tell your friends Arlene and Al how very, very sorry we all were to learn the outcome of their horses. Donna at True West was so kind to keep us all informed regarding the search. I'm sure she was instrumental in helping the owners find the horses. I suppose the only good news is that Arlene and Al can get the closure they need. Also, perhaps we riders can glean some useful information if we unfortunately find ourselves in a similar situation. Sending prayers to your friends in hopes that they can begin the healing process.

This is truely heart breaking news....I was in hopes of them finding their horses. True West was most helpful in this search and getting the word out, they deserve alot more than the 5 star rating.
