Has anyone placed a bike inside (say a 2 horse bumper straight load.) when you are not showing to keep the old man happy? I want a LQ we can camp in when I am not at the shows. Can I keep everyone happy here???

I have a exiss 3H gn and my husband used to own a 82 Honda Goldwing. The bike did fit inside the trailer. He'd come to a show,we'd put in the bike, then load the horses. The newer Goldwings are much bigger now so'd I'd do a bit of measuring to find out if you'd bike would fit. Depending on the bike, it can work.
We now have a 08 Kawasaki Vulcan which will fit in the triler easily.

You can haul a multitude of things in a horse trailer. Our trips have included furniture, tractors, building supplies, the contents of our daughter's appartment etc. In our empty third stall when we are hauling, the space has included an electric bicycle, camping equipment, and every kind of supply.
Our farrier enjoys his motorcycles and routinely travels with them, while using the camper for overnights, and the bikes for day side trips. His equipment stays dry when its wet, and he has secure storage while traveling. It should be an ideal usage for your trailer.

The divider kept the bike in place. In our case, we did not encounter any damage to the trailer. I don't have a ramp so I either bring one along ( for loading bikes or ATV's) or find a place with enough slope.

My hubby wanted the LQ trailer as much or more than I did so that he could use it to take his powered parachute to "fly ins" and stay a day or so. He hasn't done it yet, but I'm sure it will work fine. So, that kept him happy. Supposedly, we will load it and then a horse and both go places. . . we'll see about that, but it could work.
