On the home page here, under "Trailer News" is my first F150 article. I was in Detroit a week ago driving the new F150. Have the specs and video of me driving over rocks at the Ford Michigan Proving Grounds. Has integraded trailer brake control like SuperDuty and has trailer sway control that will also automaticly use your trailers brakes to help control sway. Won't be out till October when I can release more details. Driving a 2009 Nissan Titan now, next week the 2009 Tundra and in August back in Detroit to drive the all new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 with rear coil springs. New F150 has 6-speed auto, across the board they are getting 1.5 improvement in MPG. With oil at $140 a barrel yesterday, I'm taking my Paint gelding to Starbauch's today, only 3 miles from home.

Mr. Truck- I agree any reason to ride your horse is a good reason, but you'll pay $4 for a  10 oz. cup of coffee and not want to pay $4 for a gallon of gasoline?

It's 20 ounces for $4. I don't buy 38 gallons of Starbucks at a time. When I'm on the road I spend $300 a day for diesel and $4 for Starbucks. So want was the point? $5 diesel at 10 mpg towing a trailer costs $.50 a mile. I have been known to pull my trailers thru the Starbucks drive thru. If I drive 6 miles round trip that's $3 for fuel. King Soopers now has Starbucks, and my bank is in King Soopers, so three miles from home, I can be efficient. Can even get an organic apple for my gelding at KS. Then when I use my King Soopers card at Starbucks, I get $.05 off the fuel. When I was at the Western States Horse Expo a couple of weeks ago, my hotel was across the street from Starbucks. Starbucks is some kind of a religion in California. They were open from 4 am to 11 pm. I had breakfast and supper there. The servers where giving me hard time about driving a truck. I guess I wasn't green enough for them. All my shirts say truck on them, they wanted me to drive a bicycle like them. So I told them if 15 of them tied together could pull my trailer, I'd go for the bike. Didn't get any takers.
