Earning their keep on the farm!! I guess these folks don't need "horse trailers". This is not in my part of the country, but if the fuel prices continue to rise, it may become more the norm on some smaller farms. I know everything we got is broke to drive including the miniture donkeys!!

CLAY TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Amish farmers bale ryelage here in northeastern Lancaster County near Ephrata last Friday, April 25. Ryelage harvest and corn planting have been major field activities in the last two weeks. According to a Penn State press release, while corn acreage across the country is expected to decrease from last year, Pennsylvania farmers will plant a bit more than they did in 2007.
