How's this for a reply? I looked at a trailer on EBay,3 H Hart with dropdown windows that was supposed to be a 4H..I could see that the 4th window was on the camper door, however,so,I was wondering, where does the 4th horse actually go? There wasn't room enough in the back, and besides,if it does have dropdown windows and the 4th is at the escape door,I would think that it,too, would be a dropdown window especially on a Hart.So I emailed to ask,"Is this a 3H,or a 4H as you are saying? This appears to be a 3H to me."
no it used to be a three horse trailer with stock room in back. now the stock room is in front giveing you room for one more horse.
I said to myself,"HUUUHHH?" So,if it had a 'stock room' in the back, how the heck did they load the horses in it???!!!
Are they calling a collapsible tack a "stock room" and now that it's removed, there is room for another horse? If you take our collapsible tack wall down,it would be a mighty tight fit for a 4th horse, matter of fact,it couldn't be done. And so,how would they put the collapsible tack up front of the horses then? These are not intelligent sounding questions, because,I'm saying this in defense of myself,it doesn't look right,to me.It's priced about right, but, what the heck?

No,here's the thing. It is priced at a pretty reasonable price, and you have to pick it up yourself or make the arrangements. And I haven't gotten that far with the payment issues, because,it was open for bids, and it may have closed by now.I noted that no one had bid on the trailer, however.Looked like a NICE Hart 3H with a small LQ in it,to me,but the guy may really be legit for all I know.I just know what a 4H trailer looks like,TO ME,compared with a 3H,and this doesn't look anything like a 4H slant trailer.I'll shoot the # up on here for some looksees. Here is the item #:

I'm with you. Looks like a 3H to me. If that one door is an escape door, there is no entrance door to the DR/LQ/front tack room. I can see where taking out a collapsible rear tack might make room for a 4th horse, but I agree, it'd be mighty tight.

I'm not suggesting you do this but my first overnight ride ever when I was about 16-17 and old horse trainer my aunt knew hauled my horse & my sister's plus his two (one for him and one for her) to a ride in Greenwood, SC (we lived near Florence so it was a pretty good haul for inexperienced teens). Anyway, when he picked us up it was dark already and he took his horses out loaded ours in the front two stalls, then put his back in. When we got up the next morning was when I realised this he had put his two in the rear stall for one (rear tack was removed or non-existent). That whole weekend was a hell of an experience for me. Anyway, those two horses were buddies and did fine but I certainly won't ask my horses to ride like that unless it was an emergency.
What I'm saying is it can be done...especially with smaller horses.

Yup, that's a three horse if I've ever seen one. Owner definitely not upfront or it's a scam by another clueless moron. Good luck finding the right trailer.
