I am going to install a cowboy shower and was wondering if the electric tankless water heaters would work. It lookes like something that could work. I will also have a sink in LQ's. Has anyone else used these or have any info?

We have a SEISCO tankless heater in our home and really like it - now.For the first two years we had a LOT of problems with the micro switches corroding. The company was very good about replacing them, but you never knew when one would go out, and then you were hung without hot water until they could ship you another one. They finally sent us several to have on hand when one failed. A couple of years ago they totally changed types of micro switches, and we have had no problems. They make two models specifically designed for RV's. http://www.seisco.com/pages/twochamber.html

Should work great but you need to figure out if your electrical system can handle the load.

We have an electric tankless water heater in our house and love it.  Tankless water heaters are also made for propane.  We got ours from Barnett in LA;  their toll free no. is 866-384-0500.

You all have brought up many questions. I was wanting to use this for my only source for a water heater. Would that work?? Why would I not have the electric capacity to handle it??

The tankless heaters need at least 40 amps to work most trailers are 30 amps . So you would need at least 50 amp sevvice to use the WH that dosent leave you with any extra amps to run anything else at the same time. Like your Ac , a hair dryer , the refer on 110.
