We run all applicances, lights, tv, f/a,micro, etc with no problem. If ac is running and we need micro, we shut down ac until done using micro. We really don't use ac that often. Like mentioned earlier, we use our fantastic fan frequently.

We like it even more than our Honda. It is quieter and has an electric start.  I fits perfectly in our tack area.

Your Honda must not be the 3000ies inverter model if it doesn't have electric start.  I've heard my Honda running next to the Kipor and I must say there is a difference in the noise level of the two inverter types.  The Honda is quieter but the Kipor is quiet compared to the old bargain basement brands and that goes for the old type Honda's as well.

Not trying to bad mouth the Kipors but from my personal experience spend the extra little bit of money and get the Honda.  I run a business where we use the generators about 3-4 days a week.  I tried the Kipors and have not been inpressed.  I had three of the 3000/3500 Kipors that used more oil than gas and became louder the more they were run.  The dealer was nice enough to warranty them each time.  I also had a Kipor 6000 and it couldnt handle the load that my honda 6000 models can.  I can only speak for myself and the experiences I have had with Kipor vs Honda.

 you might want to take a look at the Yamaha EF3000iSEB.  I really like mine. this unit has a boost to start the bigger ACs many LQs have now.  it is rated 51-57db,  quiet, and the economy setting is even lower.  it came with the wheels, two sturdy handles, brake and battery charging cord.  i do turn it off to run the microwave, but that's not often and not for long anyway.  the price was better than the Honda.

The Chinese are copying lots of designs from other manufactures and producing lower cost machines. It's just amazing how flagrant some of those copies can be.

Some of these copies have produced lower cost products that folks are happy with. Some folks have had problems with longivity or products really meeting the specs that they are advertised to have.  It's a buyer beware market.

Kipor and Boliy are both chinese built generators.  I've never looked at the Kipor. But I have looked at the Boliy. They are an very close copy of the Yamaha generator. Even the shape of all the parts on the motor are the same.  They claim 3300 watts out of a 70 lb generator. They claim the same power from a 50% lighter generator than Honda, Yamaha or Kipor. Their claims says that they use a Digital Signal Processor to get better efficiency out of the smaller generators. There are lots of Folks on the RV and other travel nets that have tried them and are happy.

So if you are looking for a 3000watt invertor generator and want it to be luggable ( 70 pounds) take a look at Boliy

I have been running a Yamaha EF3000iseB for about four years now. Done nothing to it but oil changes, replace an air filter and one battery. We haul it in the truck bed and it has never failed to start and run perfectly. Looked at the Honda but went with the Yamaha because of the extra 500 watts at startup and it comes standard with wheels. Now, I would be tempted to try one of the Chinese knockoff gen-sets, but it would be hard not to stay with a Yamaha Inverter generator. The Yamaha and Honda inverter generators are wound with copper, whereas the knockoff generators are wound with aluminum. That's where the biggest part of the weight difference comes in. 150+# for the Honda, Yamaha. 70# for the "Boliy".
