What is the suggested way to load and carry 2 horses in a 3 horse slant?

It is a bumper hitch but what I am asking is horse in front and one in back or horse in front and middle or horse in middle and back.

On our BH if we put one horse in the middle and one in the back, it unloaded the hitch and would not tow well. We would either put one in the front and one in the rear, or one in the middle and one in the front and it worked well.

With the gn trailers, it doesn't matter, but we usually use the front stalls because they are easier to load.

I would try and keep most of the weight of the 2 horses over the axles. for a more even ride.

With ours, my wife and I usually put one in front and one in back. Normally, the front tack room is loaded heavy enough that I think we would have plenty of tongue weight with one in middle and one in back. The axles are slightly forward of the centerpoint between the middle and back stalls. But if the back horse turns around (no rear tack) or jumps, it could unload the hitch. Better safe than sorry.

Use the front stall for storage ( Got a drop down divider on the front stall? ) and load the horses in the back 2 stalls.
