Will it hold up. ?? It is a 99 cummins automatic with 410 rear. I miss my Dodge and want another. When I bought mine new in 96 it came with the 355? rear. Someone said the torque and the 410 was not a good combo.? Thanks.

If towing anything with any weight the 4.10 is the only way to go.I've changed TWO trucks out from 3.55s to 4.10s in the past.3.55s good for hauling people and pine straw.

Dodge wanted away from the 3.55 gear for years.Didn't keep the Cummins in the SWEET SPOT for pulling.4.10s also creates less heat and strain on the automatics as it moves objects easier.
