HiA friend of mine has a Merhow - I think its 3 years old now. Its got a pretty nice LQ in it. They camp or show two or three times a month all summer and are still waiting for their first problem to occur. She loves how sleek it looks, plus apparently it pulls awesome. I'm super jealous and have been bugging my fiance` to get us a Merhow too. (I think he's finally caving - he said we'd start looking - but not until fall). So hopefully I'll be in a Merhow too this Fall!! Hope this helps.

Merhows are a great value! Midwest Trailer Sales in Wi (www.mwtrailersales.com ) is where my sister bought hers and she hauls everywhere! She claims that her horses love it too, no problem loading. I know she did alot of research before she decided to go w/ Merhow, looking for as much as she could get for the money of course. Sandy, my sister, said that the folks at Midwest Trailer Sales were the deciding factor. I bought my SilverLite from them over a year ago and they were and are great! From the sale to additional service. Sandy picked an Equistar 3H w/ a weekend package. And they gave her an 8yr warranty! Hope we helped. Good luck!

Hard decision, Just this week found a sundowner 4 horse 17lq and a merhow 4 horse 17 lg both with bunkbeds. Sundowner 2001 -- Merhow 2004. Dont know what to do. I can tell that the sundowner has been used very much but the Merhow has only been used a couple of times.. Help

I had a Merhow and LOVED IT! It was 7 years old, and still looked brand new. It was a dream to pull, and very nice quality all the way around. They really are nice trailers, you wouldn't be disappointed if you bought one.

We were blessed and found a used one 2yrs. old. Don't think they used anything inside the living qtrs. Going on our 5th year of owning it. Really like the way it pulls. Had a window break on the back door. Had a glass place come out they wanted over $300 to fix it. Called Merhow direct and they shipped it to us for a little over $100. Very nice to work with, have called them about a couple other things. Over all we're very pleased with ours. Good luck and have fun shopping.
