About 90 days ago I took my 4 y.o. Driftwood x Freckles stallion to the colt starter/trainer I use,Angel Villa. He's been working him and using him to pony colts and mules off of.He feeds a 10% 3% fat feed and common grass hay with ADM(Moormens)Sure Gro Horse Minerals added.(I supply this) Any way he took Jf Rodeo Roan to TWO open horse shows an showed in Open Halter and Color halter(Rodeo Roan is a Blood Bay Roan) and took THREE FIRSTS out of three classes.Two Firsts in Open Halter and one first in color halter! All classes were 10 plus horses.I couldn't go as I just had surgery Wednesday.He called me on his way home from the second show.He said "you know HE"S a MAN now"Granted these aren't big national shows but still have some nice well bred Halter horses that are shown a lot.Can't wait to get to the roping pen wih him.
