Where would be a good place to list an Appy filly for sale? We just moved up here and I haven't seen ANY appaloosas except for mine so I don't know how well they sell in this area. I have her listed locally, but do ya'll know of any good websites to list her on? She is ApHC registered and qualifies for CRHA (colorado rangerbred horse association) registeration .

Thanks. We were going to keep this girl as a replacement for my old girl, but have decided to keep this years foal instead. I can't wait for it to get here.

I've sold several horses on www.dreamhorse.com and www.cowboyway.com. Horsetopia as mentioned before has been good too. Also some local papers offer free classified listings.

Terri,
I looked your filly up on Dreamhorse. Sounds like a nice filly, but from experence... "a picture is worth a thousand words" spend the extra money and post a picture. When I advertised my trailer on this website I didn't post pictures until a week after the ad ran and I didn't get not 1 call until the pictures came up then I was swamped!! JMO.

Thanks. She's a doll. Like I said, we were planning on keeping her but.... Some people think I'm being silly, the vet I've been using for the past 10 years died in Dec and his family believes in reincarnation. He told me with every visit that when he died he wanted to come back as one of my animals. (best compliment I could get) His wife was so happy that we were expecting a foal and since it means so much to her we decided to keep it when it is born. I figured since we are retiring the old mare soon anyway what could it hurt to give his wife peace of mind.
I'm going to post pictures on monday. Christmas and my kids birthday this week broke me so I have to wait for payday. There is a picture of her on http://www.cowboyway.com/ads/index.php?a=2&b=7880 .

I've sold some and bought a few.Got two bites going on with one now and both are from California.In fact I've NEVER sold one local.South has a issue about paying more the $1500 for one and this area is ate up with that.Do have a local really wanting a big bay yearling colt I have for a rope/working cow horse but I haven't priced it to him yet.We'll see.He was chewing on me today and I want HIM to make a offer first.Kinda got a stand off for the moment.

I bet between $1000 and $1500 depending on how many others on the load etc.I got two here from Middle Nebraska for $400 each but hauler had a deicated load with 4 coming from Texas to Myrtle beach.Other quotes were $1200/$1300 for the pair. See I get a LOT of offers of $800 to $1500 and some want them riding(green broke for that) I actualy had a gal on the net offer me $300 for one and told me all about drought,no hay,low prices and said she thought she was doing me a favor on a yearling I have ads running on.MY neighbor is a part time hauler.Normaly these lower southern states.He hauls some nive animals and some of the lowest priced,very old or ill breed animals all over with inguirys to haul a some of these many many miles away.For more then what the animal is worth.Said folks in horse Resque stuff spend a fortune to haul old,cribbled useless animals long distance to give it to another resque operation etc. Travlinhorse.com is where folks posts for bids on hauls.Lots of horse flesh being moved everday across these United States.I've sent some to New York,Ohio,PA,Nc,South Georgia.

That girl had some brass ones! No, we decided that we will get our price or she won't go. I think she's going to be an excellent horse. She has show potential, her back ground is all show/performance but I just like to trail ride. Shows are to stressfull.
