I bought a Coleman "RoadTrip" Slow Cooker today. It sounded like it could make my camping cuisine much more interesting, AND it was on sale, AND I had a $5 off coupon. Has anyone tried one of these? If not, I'll let you know what I think when I use it. According to the specs it can burn 5 hrs on "high", or 10 hours on "low" with a single coleman propane bottle. (Of course, I won't leave it unattended.)

I purchased one this summer and Love it!  I can now elimnate a frying pan, griddle pan, and BBQ, I purchased mine on the coleman website and purchased interchangeable grills.  If anyone is interested in learning more go to their website www.colemanstoves.com .

Happy Trails

Dallye - Interchangeable grills? That sounds nice, but I think mine only comes with a divided insert as an extra....vegies on one side, chicken on the other type thing. Do you have the same thing? If not, yours sounds more versatile! I haven't used mine yet....Maybe I should return it and get one like yours.

I think Dallye had the road trip gas grill. I have one of those too. They are really great. I saw the slow cooker at Walmart but haven't gotten one yet. They are like a crockpot right? Let us know how they work.

Pooperscooper - I'll let you know how it works UNLESS I trade it in for the gas grill...I'm still contemplating that one. I guess if I had unlimited space and $$ I'd get both. Oh well.
