Any comments regarding the Pop Up gooseneck extender? It's supposed to set the trailer nine inches back in truck bed to give more clearance between trailer and cab of truck ,thus making sharper turns possible.

All I can say is it works for me. Still can't do a 90 degree turn but I did gain quite a bit. My trailer is 8ft wide and the nose only tapers to about 7.

We have one and it is wonderful. The enclosed bulkhead on our trailer was very close to the truck and hard to access. The gooseneck extender made it wo much easier by setting the trailer back 9". It also facilitates tight turns without dinging up the trailer! It is made for those short box pick-ups, but it works equally well for a long box.
