I know a lot of brands have had an increase in the last few weeks, so I wouldn't be surprised, but I haven't actually heard one way or the other.

3 different dealers will be 3 different prices due to 3 different markups welcome to a capitalistic society.

I have heard that the trailer manufactures just went through a price increase.  SOO I would not be suprised the older modles are going at the cheaper price compared to buying a brand new one from the factory!

Spring is almost here.
The market is moving (or is about to) from a buyers' to a sellers', at least dealers are hoping it will.
Dealers try to justify higher springtime prices than their fall/winter "clearance" prices with rumors or suggestions that there has just been or soon will be price increases by the factory - "but YOU can beat that price increase IF you sign today".

It is probably not a good time to buy - IMAO, etc.

B'sides, all those used trailers that folk knew they couldn't sell during the winter are getting cleaned up and put out front.
Used (previously enjoyed) might be the way to go (-:

hello,  we sell 13 different brands of trailers and 8 of them have had price increases already this year from 5-12% depending on which brand.  manufacturers do have price increases just about every year around jan or feb. , and then again during the year a lot of times.  sometimes as many as 3-4 price increases per year depending on the metal markets.  so 2005 models can and sometimes will be cheaper than the 2006 models because of this.

Something else to consider is a 2005 should be, would be cheaper if it were my dealership. Last thing I want to see is last years trailers sitting while this years are selling. That could result in a loss of real money down the road.
