Have the spray-in liner done first then the hitch, otherwise they have to pull out the hitch and depending on what type of GN hitch you get, can be a PITA, plus takes longer.
I have the Rhino-liner in both of my trucks and love it. 5 years in the one truck and as good as new.

Abandon the whole bed-box thing, replace it with an alumin platform that has a trap door to the goose ball, add low sides.
Result: No height mismatch issues and trailer/tailgate or trailer/box-sides interaction. No need to spray anything on or in.

Hitch first, spray in liner second. They will tape off the hole where the ball goes and the spray helps cover the exposed metal. It worked well on mine, you just have to leave the U-bolts out for the safety chains until it is finished. Doesn't hurt to drill the hole out a bit before the spraying is done so that they will move easier.

I agree with hitch first then liner, When they cut opening in the bed of my truck for goosneck, they used a cutting torch. If I had liner sprayed in before hand, who knows what could have happened to liner, (fire, melting, etc, etc.)

Well everyone else on here said hitch first then the liner while I have both of my trucks done with spray-in liner first then the hitch. Nobody told me different and I have had no problems with the hitch or truck bed. So guess it is up to the person(s) installing the liner/hitch.

Same here..I orderered the truck with the liner installed as part of the negotiation..then put in the BW. If they hole saw the hole for the hitch before they spray, and it is a good fit you will have to cut the bedliner from the I.D. of the hole for it to have a clearance fit....But in my opinion either way will work with no problem! Either way do dab a little paint on any raw metal before you install the hitch!

My hitch installer wanted the bed liner in first. But I have rails installed, not an in-bed gooseneck receiver, because I switch between a 5th wheel (RV) and gooseneck hitch receiver.
