Am I nuts for considering a 1994 trailer? We are in the market for our daughter's first horse and we need a trailer. This one is in beautiful shape with very little rust, at least in the pictures. I'm in Maine and the trailer is in Rhode Island. They are asking $6,000. I found a 1993 that sold for 3800, but it was no where near the nice shape this one is. They say it has new lights and new tires last year. Thanks!

I had one years ago and it was a solid, nice little trailer. That being said the one you are looking at is almost 30 years old. If it was well taken care of I think it would serve you well. I would recommend calling around to some shops near where the trailer is and have someone go out and do an inspection on the frame and axles. That way you don't waste a trip down to find its not something that will work for you.
