Hello,
Thinking about trying the Easywalker shoes on one horse. They are part (or maybe all) plastic and look like they could be a decent alternative to metal shoes for some horses.

I haven't heard of EasyWalker but I have heard of Easy Boots. They are only for short rides in an emergency because they can damage the back of a horses foot if used too long. I use Old Macs and highly recommend them. I ride in rocky terrain and they do fine. I save a lot on not shoeing and my horse seems to like them.
