It is the strip that runs the length of the trailer near the top that is aluminum with a rubber insert. A gutter strip? Part of ours peeled off in an unfortunate accident in a parking lot.

It is an aluminum trim strip, that has a seperate plastic insert in it. It also looks like the roof cove skin may have popped loose. It was likely all riveted on. Cove first, then the trim. Not sure that there's a generic name for the trim. 

The trim usually comes by the stick about 10' long, the insert by the foot.
