The roof vents on my 1994 CM trailer have been broken for quite some time now. I have the replacement roof vents from the manufacturer (and caulk) and would like to replace them. My question is, when I removed the caulk from the existing roof vents, there was no easy way to pop the old vent off. Does anybody have experience with this?

Many vents are held onto place with sealants and rivets. By drilling off the rivet heads and using a putty knife between the vent and roof skin, the old vent can be removed. Once the roof area is cleaned of sealant, the new vent can be placed, and the holes back drilled. Once the holes are completed, apply a layer of sealant between the two surfaces and rerivet the new vent into place.

I think these must be held on with adhesive, as the fiberglass roof material was perfectly smooth after removing the old caulk. I'm learning more do-it-yourself skills, thanks again for the help, gard!
