So my farrier wants to buy my old Trailet. It is a 1986, Trailet, Baron II, extra tall- extra wide - That's the straight load, open front no manger model with front escape doors on both sides. Ramp has been beefed up by a good aluminum welding shop when it started bending under my warmbloods, storm doors over the ramp, no back doors. It's in reasonable shape because the aluminum has protected it in the rain, not because it has been under cover. Floor is still the original pressure treated oak. What should I quote him for it for a private sale? We're in the Seattle area.

Without seeing it and not knowing what shape the 30 year steel frame is in....... You can asked much as you wish but the best I would offer would be 12-$1500.00... Alot of old wiring, seals, brakes, tires, paint, etc. has he made you an offer? If so, how much?..

He said that I should set the price, so I could go as high as a million for my precious trailer that was my first big girl purchase after I started my career. On the other hand, a good farrier is hard to find... So a fair price seems like the best plan!
