I have a 2014 Frontier Ambassador bumper pull and last week when I opened up the door to the dressing room like i usually do and the external hinges (all 3) broke off, causing the door to fall off. The door wasn't flung open or anything out of the ordinary when opened. I'm not sure if the hinges were defective or if they were cracked or whatever but it's not like the door was abused. Looking at their 2015 & 2016 models I've noticed there are 4 hinges and they are now mounted from the inside. Has anyone else encountered a problem with their hinges or heard anything about the redesign? It just seems somewhat of a coincidence to me. Beyond this, I've never had an issue with the trailer and think it's a great trailer overall.

I've never owned one, but they are made in my state. I have been told they are good about fixing issues. Not sure what the warranty is but, even if its expired, I'd day worth calling them up saying hey, I'm happy otherwise but this door thing is pretty bad! Call the dealer or call Frontier directly. IME the trailer manufacturers are very good about customer service and satisfaction...perhaps more so than the dealers at times!
