We took down old ceiling and insulation.Put up 1inch foam board and taped all seams including metal cross beams.What I am noticing now is water droplets on the metal cross beams.Just wondering is that normal ?As I don't want to put up a new ceiling with water worries. Thank you for you help.

Did you insulate the interior surfaces of the wall studs? They will conduct heat and cold from the outside skin into any interior surface, if they too are not insulated. The soft foam sheets work well under the tape. If you added wood studding, the gaps can be filled with spray foam.

Yes the walls have been insulate.I know this is a stupid question but what exactly does the furring strips do? This was originally a living quarters trailer.That did not have that. We are just redoing it as an update. Thanks for your answers before. I appreciate it.
