My 1992 Featherlite tack door is gradually drooping. It looks like there are some white washer-like things where the pin goes. They're chipping out and now the hinge is metal-on-metal. I have to really slam the door to get it to close, as it scrapes along the bottom of the trailer frame. Can I just replace the washers w/o replacing the whole hinge? Our local RV repair place wants to replace all the hinges. New hinges aren't expensive, but I'd rather not unscrew the existing hinges on this older trailer if it's not necessary.

A little different but sounds similar, I had a hinge drooping on one of my center dividers in my trailer. I have a stud wall on it and it drooped enough and wore enough that you had to lift up the divider to open it. It was too heavy for me to lift the divider and pin to open at the same time so I was going to have the hinge replaced. They guy I was going to have to do it suggested I put in some washers in. I found something similar to a washer but thicker like a bolt and it lifted it up just enough that it worked perfect for me after that. It's be worth trying to replace the washers first to see if it helps.

Those white things are probably just bushings and should be available from Featherlight or your RV store
