I have heard that the new trucks are taller and that trailer do not fit, them so I read about this safty hitch system has any body hear of this or has any body used them It looks like it would work

That looks like a solution looking for a problem, I am not sure why anyone would even consider something like that. It would be awkward to maneuver and it does not look safe in general. the pressure that would put on your hitch different than it was designed for to say the least.that being said most trailers built in the last 10 years will clear the sides of your pickup some older ones may take a bit more work but can be made to work
