Ok, so we have this 4 horse trailer. Right now it's got a mid-tack but we're planning on removing the wall in between the dressing room and mid-tack to make a LQ. And I was looking for some ideas or some floor plans. Our door is on the left side of the trailer so it's not like most trailers. It would have a 12' long wall and 8' short wall. We'd like to fit in a couch, table and cabinets and maybe a little more to make it into a LQ. Does anyone have ideas or floor plans?

If you go to many of the major LQ horse trailer manufacturers they will have floor plans on their site. Merhow and Lakota for example have them. Just look for the width and short wall size of your trailer and you will see some blue prints. Then I would look at the trailers for sale on this site and get ideas. When we had our trailer built, we found ideas we liked here and had them added to our trailer and it worked great.

Do a search for floor plans on this site. Showed many options for 3 and 4 horse trailers. It was probably on this site in the last 30 days. Very useful. From previously done one ourselves, must maximize every inch. Good Luck.

We have almost exactly what you have. Attached is a layout used to design it and a couple of photos of the final.Take some time to lay it out and mock it up before you begin. I only purchased the cabinets over and under the counter, and one over the toilet, and made the rest using cabinet doors from the same supplier. All cabinetry is oak. The table is removeable with an oak top.Added an AC/DC refrigerator/freezer, Microwave, AC, ceiling vent, shower 2 sinks and toilet. You will find every inch is important so plan it out using actual component dimensions. If you don't add a shower or toilet, you will have plenty of space to do what you list.If the attachments don't go thru, let me know and I can email them to you.

Also, we need to fit 4 people in there comfortably. We were hoping to put in bunk beds but the person on top wouldn't have enough room. But we'd like to just have a queen bed on the gooseneck part and a sleeper sofa against the long wall. We'd also like lots of cabinets possibly a microwave and storage for clothes and odd in things. We were planning on adding a shower and toilet but we're thinking we might not have enough room. Plus, most places we go we just stay for a night or two and the facilities usually have a bathroom and shower anyways.
