Does anyone know of a dealer or anyone who buys trailers? I have a GREAT trailer with a hard to find Mid tack and finished dressing room. Am looking to downsize and there is one I really want nearby me but I need to sell mine first. I would like to sell mine quickly so I don't lose out on the one near me. Anyone have any suggestions?

Post it on here and price it right. It should move quickly if it isn't something Wierd that only a few people would be looking for.

Thanks Dave... I do have it on here but no responses. Maybe I need to be more patient but just anxious so I don't miss out on the one I want.

I have had luck on craigslist- just beware of buyers who respond to your ad with very bad grammar....

And there's always eBay...........I take it the one you want to buy is not at a dealer?

I don't want to get in a shouting match with someone. you asked for suggestions so here are mine. I had no trouble selling several trailers before. first, price it fair- a search of similar trailers in your area ND (which is itself a problem) shows you are way overpriced-5-10K in some cases. Mid-tacks are not as popular as you think. That is why they are an option. ND is a long way from everywhere & has harsh winters & roads. if u want to sell it fast, you may have to take a loss...it is 13 years old.I wish you the best of luck...im just trying to help, not be negative. happy trails

I think price is key. I sold mine on Craigslist in less than 3 weeks. Started at my desired price and only got bad grammar inquiries. Lowered by 500 dollars every 5 days until fifteen hundred dollars less I had two buyers and only one trailer. Worked for me, good luck.

You need to lower your price by several thousand $$. The finished dressing room did not give me a warm fuzzy and you have priced it like it has a LQ

I was given this price by 3 dealers from around the whole region-not just local area.

If 3 dealers gave you that price, why won't they buy it from you then????

Is that the price they would list it at, sell it for, offer for trade-in or what? These can be vastly different numbers and non of them might be based in reality.

There are other threads talking about low trade-in values and good explanations for it.

I wish you good luck but there are many other trailers listed on here for the same money that would be much more desirable to me.

Ad # 494075  If this is your ad .... Your pictures are don't present the trailer well.  The tack and stuff laying about project a poor image.  The rip in the divider padding is glaring.  It's a four horse trailer with three saddle racks.  Do you have the fourth?  The mats in the horse area are curling.

Lastly and most important, I would think more people would want a place to camp not just a bed and a dressing area.

Your trailer configuration and price is not something I would want as .... a trailer rider... That's my opinion.   I suggest lowering the price.  and take better pictures with the trailer cleaned.

Just reviewing some old threads... never know where you'll get some useful information and wanted to encourage the original poster to follow the advice offered. I'm currently in the market for a trailer up to about $25k, 3-4 horse gooseneck and LQ or LQ-able. I have found several Sundowners, 4Stars, etc. in this same price range and age with LQ (maybe not every component of complete LQ) and with no needed repairs. Perhaps the $19,500 price would be a good place to start if it were on a trailer sales lot but to get someone to initiate contact with you, I'd think it would need to be closer to $15k. Also, their right, the messy storage and torn pad gives the impression that you've not taken care of it... which is probably not the case but all people have to go by initially is the pics and description.I hope you get that trailer you want. I think the one you have could be totally swell with a little investment.julie
