Hello
You must consider I am newbie in the domain of 5 W.
Is it a crazy to have the idea to fit out a toy hauler for transportation of 2 horses ?
The floor is it rather solid ? The chassis can it support the weight of 2 horses?
The floor could be strengthened and all the inside walls protected with water resistant plywood plate.
On the other hand I dont know how the metallic bars could be installed(settled) and fixed.
If this arrangement is not impossible I am completely open for your advices.

I asked that same question over on the RV forum several times. If you find someone who will entertain that idea, please make sure you post it here. I've been trying to find a dealer who will assist with ordering a toy hauler equipped with a 2 horse rear end. We have a 35' 5th wheel with a recessed LR in the back, and a 4 horse LQ and would like to combine them. The problem is the RV'ers aren't interested in horses to attempt to do so. I've gotten dumbfounded looks from dealers when asking about doing so. It's not a 'stock' configuration. Balance could be an issue with a live load at the rear behind the axles, but most TH's claim they can carry the dead weight load at the rear. Lowering the frame behind the axles like the recessed LR, could stabilize it and make the ramp access shallower as well - with hay storage overhead. Just thinking . . . May just have to make one some day . . .

Most of the RV's are made of plastic, cardboard a little thin plywood and some tin for the frame rails... I wouldn't want any live animal in the rear of a "toy hauler", specially a horse if it were to become a little rowdy... Why not buy a Horse Trailer and use it as a toy hauler when needed as a toy hauler.. Leave the tall toy haulers for the folks that ride bicycles...

If you want one of your horses coming through the sides of your toy hauler...then by all means try it...

A horse puts more weight on one forward foot than most men weigh. The loading of most RV's is a small fraction of that, with OSB sheathing and 2x3" softwood studding. As was stated, buy a horse trailer and convert it to a toy hauler. You can load most GN horse trailers behind their axles, especially with a LQ installed. You can purchase trailers with one or two piece tailgates that have no center post. This will allow you to easily load many types of "toys" with little effort. Buying a trailer with a rear ramp makes loading bikes, ATVs and sleds very easy.

I also watch 5 W trailers with living quarter but I did not find one for 2 horses and a living quarter with a total length around 40 "
My need to transport horses is only for at most 5 times a year but.
I continue my researches among all the maufacturesb of horse trailers.

I'm certain if you call any of the manufactures of LQ ( living quarter ) GN ( goose neck) horse trailers they will build you exactly what you are looking for. >>>>>>>>>>>>>.....Good Luck
