I have a Bison 3h with an 8shortwall LQ, I was wanted to mount a tv in it, has anyone mounted a tv in their trailer after they bought it?, what do you recommend? how did you mount it? and how secure has it been ?

We have an 18" diagonal in each of the two trailers below that are mounted using standard brackets I got from Menards - I believe they are from Barkan or something like that. Just make sure you screw the fixed mount into a substantial wall joist or beam, and firmly set the mating screw that goes between the two bracket halves when attaching the tv. The one I our RV has been there for about 4 years, only removed during winter storage. The one in the horse trailer has been there for the last 4 months since finishing the interior. Since I did that interior, I mounted a piece of 3/4" plywood between two wall studs, and screwed to it. Both TV's have ridden very well without problem. I brought the cable in from the wall, but left the wall connection fitting just below the tv so it can be disconnected easier. Used RG-6 cable on the horse trailer, but ran hdmi cable in the wall on the RV from the DTV box. Just make the mount attachment substantial, and you will be ok.

Bought a used trailer that already had a flat screen mounted, it is mounted with a standard wall mount bracket. We have had the trailer for 3 years and it has remained secure.

You can use a standard wall mount bracket. If you call Bison they will send you a diagram where the wall supports are if you're having issues finding them.
