Hello,

I've been looking at trailers alot lately, as for HIGH priced trailers I like the 4star, Platinum and Cimmaron. As for lower priced trailers I like the WW aluminum along with the CM Aluminum and S&H Aluminum. The WW looks very sturdy and heavy while the CM & S & H look lighter and a little less quality. DO I really wanna spend $13,000 + for a nice looking trailer or settle for an Aluminum for under $10,000. I'd like som efeed back from someone who has either owned one of these trailers or at least pulled one and give pro's and con's before I fork over a ton of money. ALSO id like to know if dealers are really wanting to negotiate a deal or just hold out until a sucker comes along and buys a trailer. I know dealers have leins on their trailers and need to sell them just as an Auto dealer does. So is there anyone who has experienced what I'm talking about? I'll wait for the feed back. Thanks

If you do a search on this site you will find many posts on most different types of trailers. You will also find that some love a certain brand while others have not been as happy.
As for negotiations, yes they will deal. You can stack the deck in your favor if you go to the horse fairs or shows like the Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus OH. They will have sales at the shows and if you wait until the end of the show, you may end up getting even a better deal as they don't want to haul the trailer back to the lot.
If you have some time, ordering a trailer can save you money as well. We ordered ours in November and picked it up in February. We didn't need it over the winter anyway. We saved thousands by not having the dealer have a lien on the trailer, have insurance or take up lot space. Worked well for us.
There are strategies just like buying a car, some will deal more than others. Don't settle for local dealers. Many dealers will ship a reasonable distance. You just have to look around.
