Does the pump motor run in the lower position? If so there may be a check valve that is stuck, maybe some ice in the system... Is the hydraulic fluid at the proper level?

Don't know much about a Lunde system, think they went out of business in 2006. Picture of a Lunde system below.

It just clicks when trying to lower. What position is the jack to see if it has enough fluid.

My first guess would be a reversing relay that is pulling in but not making a electrical contact I do think that the hyd. motor runs 2 directions 1 to raise and 1 to lower, if it's clicking I'd first look for bad or loose connections, you should have a power relay/switch somewhere that changes the motors direction of rotation. I think the click you are hearing is the relay trying but due to a problem it's not sending the voltage to the motor.

Mud_dog,

You have the same jack that I have on my trailer. The jack operates on a positive pressure meaning the pump lifts and the pump lowers. There is a manual pump on the top of the unit along with a valve to switch directions. I would guess one leg of the solenoid gave up on you as mentioned in a prior thread. To check the fluid level the leg needs to be in the raised position. The reservoir is about 3/4 full when full.
